I am loved by a God that could love me more in a moment that any lover could in a lifetime. A God that is always there for me, always has my back, could talk to Him at any time and nothing and no one could ever compare to Him.
I am also surrounded by communities of people that genuinely love me and help me grow- family, friends, church, work etc. Thus, I was pretty chill about it actually.
In terms of tips:
-quit thinking about it so much! Go out, lime and enjoy yourself (and singleness)
-Get and be active
I (1)always lime with my friends somewhere and (2) I’m very involved in ministry and (3) dance. I am pretty occupied and enjoy my life so I don’t think about it much. It’s very ‘freeing’ to know I can go out and get home late knowing I don’t have to think about a husband I need to get home to or children to see about in this season lol.
Lastly, follow tips of this blog. Practically and beautifully written with love and honesty 😉

Thanks, Kenny! We need to have open hands with God with everything in our lives. That being said, marriage is very important so we need to always be open to that as well, but not have it as an idol.

So funny that today I was telling coworkers that I may never be married. They being married themselves could not wrap their minds around that possible reality. While I am asking God to help me accept this fact they were trying to convince me that won’t happen. I am happy God has opened my eyes to this possibility and letting me see that marriage was an idol and I need to let go. This is such a good article. Thank you so much
