In reply to Mariangelica. Hola Mariangelica! I will certainly pray for you concerning this. My encouragement to you is to devise a method that works best for you. Pray and ask God to direct you because we all have different learning styles and there is a lot of resources out there to help with memorizing.

In reply to Kenny. That’s the spirit, Kenny! You can definitely use what is convenient for you. The key ingredients are consistency and repetition. I would say, though, that research has been proven that writing helps you to remember things faster.

Boy I have difficulty memorizing a verse much less an entire chapter, I just can’t think of an entire book. See what I just did there: already over analyzed and talked myself out of it. So I am gonna try. I have the bible on CD. So I was thinking of playing it and memorizing each chapter. Easier to listen to a recording of Alexander Scourbey than reading aloud. What are your thoughts?
