When I got married, I shocked a lot of people because they thought that I would never marry. Some even thought that I wanted to be a nun! 😂 I guess that is explainable since they didn’t see me with any guy for over 13 years. However, in the last two years of being single, I really began to understand what awakened the heart of a single man toward a woman.

Now, you might be thinking, “Do I have what it takes to attract a man … a quality man?”
Yes, you absolutely have it in you! Your size, shape, complexion, ethnicity are not as important in the grand scheme of things. Just look around and you will observe that all types of women, in all shapes, sizes and ages, get married. Why not you?
So, what makes a man become attracted to a woman in the first place? I want you to know that sometimes attraction is immediate and at other times, attraction grows over time.

1) Her smile.
A smile is God’s gift to every human being. A smile breaks down barriers. It says to a man that this woman is approachable. It also communicates that you are possibly a woman who knows how to enjoy life and in whose company he can find happiness.
2) Her positive attitude.
Life is hard already. A man prefers to be with a woman who can brighten his days. After a long draining day, he wants to be in the company of a positive and contented woman instead of a woman who is negative, quarrelsome and intense. He wants less stress and not more.
3) Her looks.
Have you ever met a much older woman and she just looks amazing? Why is that? It’s because she makes an effort to take care of herself. One of the tendencies of single older women is to become less concerned with the way she looks and the way she carries herself. If you want to attract a good man, begin taking better care of yourself, regardless of your age.
4) Her willingness to nurture.
A man is looking for a woman who has a heart to nurture and care for him and his future children. Can she handle managing a home? Can she provide a meal for her family? Does she have a mind to humbly and willingly serve others?
5) Her girliness.
Femininity is a big deal for a heterosexual man. Opposites do attract! Put aside roughness, gruffness and aggression and embrace tenderness, softness and meekness. Let your femininity show in the way you speak, walk, sit, and dress. You’ll be surprised at the impact you’ll have on a man with a few adjustments in this area.
